Crosscompile toolchain

Reported by: crath Owned by: tim
Priority: major Milestone: RC2009
Component: Fawkes Nao Version:
Keywords: OpenEmbedded Cc:
Git Branch:

Description

An up-to-date cross compile toolchain for 32 and 64 bits should be available before RC2009 so that there is no new friction at the event, due to a toolchain creation delay.
I tried the script as to be found in the Nao trac wiki, but the servers aren't online anymore, as openembedded changed to a git-repository.

Have you tried the newest packages I have uploaded during this week to the DAV folder? The x86_64 is what I'm using here so it works. The i386 package is untested, but should work. Feedback on this is welcome (I packaged it before Rome for another laptop but it wasn't used).

I can put the mt package in the dav as well. I have a git version here as well, but ended up just using the existing tree to save myself work. The binary packages should be fine as it contains everything needed for now, so going throught the pain of setting up the OpenEmbedded tree remains for the brave until I find time to update to the git tree and write new documentation (unlikely for RC2009).

Did you test the new packages and can you give a comment? I'm going to close this otherwise.

I have uploaded a new tar ball to the WebDAV directory that contains libmicrohttpd.
